  1. ABQ BioPark Zoo

Visitors of all ages will love the multitude of different mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians that live in the ABQ BioPark Zoo.  See animals like orangutans, polar bears, and tigers play and exercise. Take a look at what goes on under the sea at the ABQ BioPark Aquarium.  This particular part of the Albuquerque Biological Park features all kinds of exhibits, from shipwrecks to sea turtles.  In addition to admiring the mesmerizing tanks filled with all types of fascinating sea creatures, you can even touch a few of these underwater friends, including sharks, horseshoe crabs, and sea stars.  

  1. Tingley Beach

This recreation area offers countless opportunities for fun in the great outdoors of Albuquerque, NM!  At Tingley Beach, you can go fishing or boating on the ponds, enjoy a picnic lunch (charcoal grills are provided), or take a stroll down one of the many hiking trails.  Stop by the Tingley Beach Cafe to grab a snack on your way home!

  1. Botanic Garden
