We were lucky enough to catch some of today’s performance on the gazebo in Old Town of Coyote Crossing, a really good bluegrass band.
While we may be in Old Town Albuquerque, we have much more than mariachi music for entertainment, although we do have some great mariachi bands as well.
It seems like just about every ethnic group imaginable is represented in Albuquerque. Our public school system has to deal with 38 different languages, including Vietnamese, several dialects of Chinese, Thai, French, and so on, not to mention a huge number of Spanish dialects from Mexico and Central and South America. Every year we have the Philippine festival here.
So come on down and pull up a chair. Get ready to be surprised in Old Town.
